Wow so much to catch up on!

Hey Everybody!

long time no post....ive been unbelievably busy and distracted its ridiculous. In june i went to michigan to see my baby graduate from high school. it was a proud proud proud mommy moment. i was only there for a short time. then came back home and back to the grind of work. the summer went by so so fast. For M's birthday we went camping for a few days and it was fun. we stayed in a cabin and the kids just were able to go anywhere in the park. The hubs took them canooing, and we painted ceramics. it was very restful.

Right after camping we came home and it was back to school time. We kept M back in kindergarten even though he just turned 6, but he was a young 5 when he went last year so its definitely is helping him. E started 4th grade and has been doing exceptionally well. and of course R started college in august, wow how time flies.

R played rugby in the fall and i almost had a heart attack. i have no idea really what it is but all i know is my baby had 2 black eyes. :(

E played flag football this fall and he did really well and it was awesome for him to do, we had a blast . His team came in second in their superbowl. he even got his first trophy and he was so proud as are we.

Other than that. Ive decided to take up a new hobby and that is jewelry making. i have an etsy shop but yet to have anything in it. its called custom jewelry by christa or christas custom jewelry. it definitely is a new adventure. My other new adventure is im going to college! it will all be online of course but hey its a starting point.

as for now thats all . i will post again soon

The craziness that has become our lives

Wow! is all i have to say. Its been crazy around here. Not only with work and the boys school but also the  and still fostering macy the prego momma. She had 6 beautiful babies and they were pretty good pups except for bear..he was #1 and he came out making noise and was very noisy alot ..for example if they were playing and one did something he would scream, he screamed when he got shots, when they were finally able to go outside, we would take 3 out a time he screamed even tho he had two siblings with him. It was getting annoying and as everyone was getting adopted he wasnt, but finally he was the last to go..and seemed to go to an outstanding family. Thank heavens! The rescue i work with if anyone is interested in saving a life is  http://newenglandallbreedrescue.org they are amazing. they also transport,   you can find available dogs and pups thru petfinder, search under rescue and also on petango, and search under rescue. We also could use fosters.

In other news, May 2 my angel girl wouldve been 16. its been along time.Seems so unreal how time flies by but you still get stuck in those/ that moment. But as god took an angel from me she sent an angel down to my sister as my nephew was born on her birthday so now we have two angels to celebrate!

In late may i was gearing up for my big trip ....i was headed out to michigan to see my baby R graduate from high school. First it was going to be a family trip then just me and the boys then  a family then me and the boys and it went on like this for awhile as the hubs didnt know if he was going to work. Finally he had to work so the boys and i headed out for a  long drive as we didnt know if i was going to make the drive in one full day.especially with the kids. The drive wasnt too bad, made it to the half way mark around two and got to michigan at 9. we only had a short time, i was there from the 6-11. as i gave myself leeway for the drive issue before i actually made the drive, i couldve left the 12 but didnt want to chance it. It was a great time, i spent alot of time with my baby, and he spent time with his brothers and then we spent time with the family and then came the big day Sunday June 10th. Such an accomplishment and so happy and grateful and proud of my boy. and he looked so handsome. just mere weeks before i was getting pics from the prom ( his first one) he asked his date in such a romantic creative way, ( he gets it from me) and they looked gorgeous that nite, i would hope he had a good time because hes not really a dancer but he said he had an amazing time :D He is very smitten over this girl. it was funny at graduation that she came over to get pics with him and he was going to go over and get pics with her family ...which they did. His dad and I actually got along, i think he finally gets it or doesnt care because R will be 18 in october.  We took him from graduation and did dinner on my side since some people were going to be leaving to head back home and i was leaving the next day. then he got a text and just as i said "how come you didnt introduce me to anna?" she said the same thing, so we met up later that evening, i really like her they are both quiet and seem to get along great. shes very polite very athletic and shes special to him. BE STILL MY FREAKIN HEART, HES MY BABY FOR GOODNESS SAKES!.

Also we went to the cemetery while i was there, as i hadnt been in 6.5 yrs ( since my mom died) and it was fine except there was no way to mark her, so one day i went with the three boys and they all brought a rock and i made a handmade stick cross then i went shopping and made a plaque with her name its wooden and has her name etc, i got a mini flag pole and a flag with butterflies as i have a butterfly tattoo for her, a moon and star wind chime and then a small turtle and frog statues, it came out nice and hopefully it will stay the only thing i couldnt do was find a garden stake of any sort to put the plaque on to put it into the ground instead of having it just rest. i was given lots of compliments on it. its the only way to mark her if anyone does go and see her. and the amazing thing i knew right where she was the moment i pulled in. even tho more people have been placed it was like a beacon...or maybe just a mom thing. I didnt cry when i had the boys with me R was surprised but the younger kids didnt really get it. The day i went and placed everything i almost cried and laid with her and wished beyond words that id never had to leave her there, wishing i could bring her with me.But sadly it isnt so.

it seems like my trip flew by which it did and it was to short of a time to be with my baby. his school plans are up in the air but hopefully he will come out here for a period of time.

E is off to 4th grade this year and we are keeping M in kindergarten because hes such a young five. he turned 5 three days before school started, he enjoyed it but also he would get overwhelmed too.

well thats all i have for now in life updates hope this finds everyone happy healthy and enjoying their summer!

Been Busy? Just a tad

Wow !
Hey everyone, its been a bit busy around our household lately. Not only with the kids school and our new regiment for that but also the hubs has been super busy at work. As you may or may have not read we bought our first home in Oct. Everything kept getting delayed because of the previous owner, she would promise it would be done by our close date which was Sept 29 and it never happened, we didnt close till Oct 21. we still arent unpacked from it, we have no pics on the wall there isnt enough storage in the kitchen. we got the kids room sort of put together but the only toys that they have in there are the ones from xmas. we dont have our bed frame even up because we have original hardwoods in our room so we just have a dresser and our boxspring and matteress is on the floor. The room across from us doenst have a door or a closet ( we originally were going to choose that for a room but the hubs decided that the other room would be better even though it has ac closet, the rooms upstairs are huge and im not sure if they are the same size but they are both huge. one side we have a little office set up, then we have a tv up in there for the kids to watch their shows, we have boxes on one half (till we can go thru and see what can go down in the basement. and then in one small corner the hubs has his paintball stuff. here is a video of one of the walk thrus of the house, sorry it can be a bit jumpy my husband is using his go pro camera and has it on his head! the video is below :)

in other news we chose to keep the kids in the same district we they were in...and i work out that way so it just seems easier as to drive them since i go that way anyways. so its pain on my days off to have to take them but we dont know much about the district we moved in so im not sure that we would ever move them.

IN AWSOME NEWS: my older son may be moving with us permenetly! he graduates in june which is about 11-12 weeks from now. the hubs is not sure if he is going to be able to make it even though he wants to go and weve been planning it most of the year. but there has been tons of work lately so it may be just me and the younger kids. so it will be nice to see my siblings and some of my neices and nephews. AND BOY OH BOY IM SO EXCITED TO SEE MY BOY GRADUATE!!!

And other exciting news we've become foster parents to dogs from rescue specifically NEW ENGLAND ALL BREED RESCUE. to be a foster you just have to provide a loving warm home and they give you the food and all the vetting! the first dog we got was a jack russel mix, and he was so smart, i had him taught to sit and stay within 20 minutes, he loved the hubs ! now we have what used to be a pregnant momma and she delivered 6 pups on february 29th. theyre all gorgeous and i call them my puppy army. im trying to convince the hubs to let me keep one. im not sure what i will do when they have to be adopted out but they are going to let me do the adoptions so , i will be pick and then after the pups are ready both pups and momma will be up for adoption. here is their website if you are in new england. they do transport so think about giving one a new home, they have all ages breeds sizes and sometimes they are rescuing from down south and bringing them here to get new homes! here is their facebook page : http://www.facebook.com/NEABR

Check them out its worth it! thats all for today and we are caught up so ill be back soon...ps we've been having awsome weather here in new england, high 50's mid 60's and this week into the 70's wahoo!

its been a long time!

Hey Everyone~

How are things with you ? Last time i blogged i talked about how all of a sudden i got a gall bladder attack and had to have surgery...it was painful. i was out for 19 days before i had the surgery then couldnt go back to work till Aug 15...my work wouldnt take me til the doctor cleared me and i could lift anything.

things have been moving swiftly since then. School started for the kids, we were looking at houses...found one fast, aug 30! put an offer in and it was accepted on the 31..we had the inspection in early sept and were supposed to close on sept 29 but the seller didnt have everything complete even though she swore she would. then they said the following week. that happened for a few weeks until finally we got to close on Oct 21!!! we started moving immidiately!! we had had things packed since sept anyways. The hubs hired movers for the 22, and they were supposed to be to the apt by 1pm, but then they called to say the job they were on would be awhile longer, that went on for hours, they kept calling and setting it back, we had even moved all the boxes out side so they could just put the boxes in the truck and then we had taken the beds apart so all they would have to load really is the boxes and furniture...pftt ! I was getting pissed. the hubs was just letting them walk all over him but he wasnt doing anything about it..so we just finally moved everything in. the kids had fallen asleep and so just as were were changing for bed, we get a knock on the door at 10pm! oh my god i went off. your goin to try and move us at 10pm. Eff that, they told us they could come back before 4 the next day and we said no if they were going to do it we would be the first one.they said they couldnt they had booked clients for that day...um hello we were booked clients for saturday and they didnt show up till 10 pm when they appt was for 1pm.

So we just decided that we would get a uhaul and move ourselves...which we have done everytime we moved. Even when people say they will help they never show. so we took all of sunday to move and then took the rest of the week to get everything...till we got the biggest snow storm..the day before halloween....things that happened during that are another post.

so we've been in our new house since then, and its going fine, no major issues. i want to get a puppy but the hubs says only small breed, weve looked at pompoos and papillons puggles and chiweenies..so far no luck, people here want a fortune for them and shelters put you thru an inquisition to adopt one...even on craigslist for a mutt its 300$!!!! there are no free puppies to be found.

well we will keep looking.

Well im going to close here for now....
